Immerse yourself in the heart of the snow with our spirit of a sled dog tour, a truly unforgettable experience. Spend 3 to 4 hours out on the trail, gliding through the snow-covered wilderness behind a team of 8 to 10 incredible huskies.
You'll have the unique opportunity to take the reins and drive the sled yourself, guided by our experienced team. Along the way, we'll stop off to enjoy a cozy campfire and lunch, take in stunning summit views, and explore untouched areas of Baw Baw that few ever get to see.

To top off your adventure, enjoy a complimentary hot chocolate or soft drink as you take in the magic of your surroundings.
this tour is perfect for those seeking an authentic, hands-on sled dog experience combined with breathtaking alpine scenery.

Duration
This tour is between 3-4 hours

Please Note: 

  • We have a combined weight limit of 160kg in the sled and cart on all of our tours. Please be aware of this when booking your tour and ensure the participants of your tour will not exceed this limit.
  • Our insurance policy prevents us from offering rides to pregnant women.
  • Please be aware due to the weather and trail conditions your tour may run early or late.
  • All of our tours are run as an informative, enjoyable and scenic tour, we DO NOT offer adrenaline rides. Although our dogs are amazing at what they do we train them as freight pulling dogs not a racing dog meaning they are extremely fit and extremely strong but not extremely fast.
  • In the case that snow conditions are extremely low at Mount Baw Baw, we may be required to run your tour on a four wheeled cart instead of a sled. We will notify you of this before your tour time and offer to either run your tour in the cart or reschedule to a later date within the 2025 season when the snow conditions may improve. If you decide not to participate in the tour, no refunds will be issued.
