Repair works have commenced on Tourist Road

Earlier this week Allan Bawden, SARMB Chair and resort management met with Ben Carroll MP, Minister for Roads and Road Safety, the Baw Baw Shire Mayor and CEO, and the CEO and senior management staff from Regional Roads Victoria to inspect the Baw Baw Tourist Rd between Icy Creek and the resort.

The Tourist Rd has sustained significant damage including 13 landslips, that will see the road closed to public access for some months. The Minister was briefed on the importance of the Tourist Rd to the resort and the regional economy. Repair works have commenced this week.

Access to the resort is currently via the South Face Roadd.
