Get ready for a tail wagging good time as you find magic around every corner on the looped trails of Mount Baw Baw. The dog's excitement is contagious as you dash through the snow, so snuggle up and get ready to learn all about the history of the sport, linage of the dogs and the ultimate bond between man and their best friends. 

Journey upwards to discover remarkable views of untouched beauty then under archways of painted snow gums. If you’re feeling brave your experienced musher will let you have a go at driving! From the cheeky to the driven, our dogs are sure to make memories so finish the tour off with a pat and play to say thank you. The
dogs will be sure to load you up with plenty of kisses to remember them by. This tour is great for all ages and abilities.

Duration
This tour is roughly 1 hour 15 minutes which includes around 1 hour sled ride time and then followed with around 15 mins pat 'n’ play time with our huskies.

If you are looking for that little extra special experience, this tour allows those in the sled to jump out and have a go at driving the sled with our husky team.

Children (age 3 years - 15 years)

Adults (age 16 years +)

Please Note: 

  • We have a combined weight limit of 160kg in the sled and cart on all of our tours. Please be aware of this when booking your tour and ensure the participants of your tour will not exceed this limit.
  • Our insurance policy prevents us from offering rides to pregnant women.
  • Please be aware due to the weather and trail conditions your tour may run early or late.
  • All of our tours are run as an informative, enjoyable and scenic tour, we DO NOT offer adrenaline rides. Although our dogs are amazing at what they do we train them as freight pulling dogs not a racing dog meaning they are extremely fit and extremely strong but not extremely fast.
  • In the case that snow conditions are extremely low at Mount Baw Baw, we may be required to run your tour on a four wheeled cart instead of a sled. We will notify you of this before your tour time and offer to either run your tour in the cart or reschedule to a later date within the 2025 season when the snow conditions may improve. If you decide not to participate in the tour, no refunds will be issued. However, if you are unable to reschedule your tour and we are unable to accommodate your preferred date, any payments already made will be refunded in the form of a gift voucher. Please note, the gift voucher will be valid for 3 years from the issue date. Please refer to our terms and conditions for more information.

We only have surface lifts here at Mt Baw Baw, not chair lifts for sightseeing. You must be on skis or a snowboard to use our ski lifts. Every person must have a visible lift pass to access the ski areas. Please note: A Snowsports pass can only be purchased online for the 4th of July 2025 onwards. Ski Lifts will only be operating dependent on natural snowfall (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) until the start of Victorian School Holidays, July 4th, 2025. Lifts will then run every day until the end of August.

NOTE: If toboggan hire is sold out, passes are still available by booking by purchasing a "Toboggan Pass only" product. This is a pass for the use of our toboggan park for 1 session plus toboggan hire for that session. Every person entering the toboggan park will need their own pass.
