Give your child a passion for the snow and watch them develop a love of skiing in a group Lesson. Enjoy a fun filled day with our talented instructors that are committed to providing your child with a safe and fun experience. The lesson also includes a 1 hour supervised break with lunch provided for the kids to enjoy. - AMEX card not accepted. Youth between 12 and 14 can either book into a child lesson or an adult lesson. The choice is yours depending on the size of your child. For smaller 12-14s or those with younger siblings you may prefer to go into a childrens lesson. 12-14 youth who have had their growth spurt or have older siblings or parents to ski with may feel more comfortable in an adults lesson.

Ski Skills Progression

First Time Skiier	You: Know your equipment, know how to skate, can demonstrate basic stance and straight running Can ride the Magic Carpet. Know the Mountain Responsibility Code (Safety on the slopes).
Beginner Skiier	You: Can demonstrate stopping, direction change, standing up by yourself and speed control. Know the Mountain Responsibility Code (Safety on the slopes)
Intermediate Skiier	You: Can ride lifts (platter / button drag lifts) Can demonstrate an S-Turn and wedge parallel Can demonstrate beginner park skills* *optional learning path
Advanced Skiier	You: Can ski full parallel, demonstrate proper technique such as physical stance, rolling of edges, separation, skiing backward. Understand ski performance i.e. flexion and extension, Can demonstrate more advanced park skills* *optional learning path

Resort Entry 2021

Please ensure you have purchased your Resort Entry pass online before arriving along with chains from Moe, Erica, or via our online store. Please be advised that access to the Resort is via South Face Road only as the Tourist Road is closed due to landslides. * PLEASE NOTE: As of 11.59pm Tuesday 27 July it is a requirement that all visitors have a COVID test within 72 hours of entering the resort and must present proof of a negative test to enter. Children under 12 are not included. *
